Developing intergenerational programs The communitarian profile design
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents the idea of intergenerational programs as a new form of social intervention,
with the key element of intergenerational education. Since these programs promote intergenerational relationships and collaboration between generations, if properly formulated and
implemented, they can be beneficial for those who participate, for communities and ultimately for companies. However, the planning and implementation of these programs is a complex task that requires time and knowledge. In this article, we present the design of the local community profile, as an illustration of the applicability of intergenerational programs.
