A system with three equations and three unknown variables A pedagogical experience related to the teaching of a master course in three different educational profiles

Abstract
This paper was intended to examine how the discipline of Geographical Information System Applied to Natural Sciences, the responsibility of the Department of Geosciences, Environment and Land Planning, apparently very specific could be adapted to different areas and to different backgrounds. Along this paper, the main objectives, the main challenges, the teaching
methodologies and the evaluation method of this course are discussed and the results were analyzed. The first challenge is trying to understand the title of this work. Throughout the text, the title and the three equations mentioned are decoded, and, at the end of the article, the three unknowns are revealed.
