What does the community say? University extension seen by outside actors (a case study)

Abstract
Society demands more and more from Universities, expectations becoming each day more diversified. The purpose of this article is to reflect on such issue, on the basis of a specific case study. More precisely, the results of a research project are presented and discussed, emphasizing the view external actors, that is, regional institutions, have with regard to the efforts of the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro to engage with the local community.
