Educação para o desenvolvimento na era global Possibilidades de uma leitura pós-colonial

Resumo
Neste artigo faz-se uma revisão de elementos relevantes para o entendimento e problematização da Educação para o Desenvolvimento promovida por organizações não governamentais. Primeiramente analisam-se questões ligadas ao desenvolvimento e à globalização, campos vitais para compreender o surgimento e evolução da temática. Segue-se uma sistematização do conceito de educação para o desenvolvimento e de outros dois conceitos frequentemente considerados sinónimos: educação global e educação para a cidadania global. Conclui-se com uma leitura de aspetos tensionais do campo à luz de uma perspetiva pós-colonial.
