U. PORTO PRESS was founded in 2002, the editorial imprint of the University of Porto has been affirmed for its work supporting the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge through the publication of originals of high merit, recognized by peers in all scientific fields. Having gone through several names that mark different periods of its development (Editora UP, U.Porto Editorial and U.Porto Edições), at the end of 2019 the Editora assumes the designation U.Porto Press / Editora da Universidade do Porto, expressing a movement towards international expansion, the establishment of collections that respond to redefined strategic objectives, the protocolization of partnerships with the 14 faculties, the Porto Business School and the 49 research centres of the University of Porto and the availability of books to the public in paper and/or digital support through a direct sales website.

SCOPIO EDITIONS is the imprint of Cityscopio-Associação Cultural and an independent publisher associated to the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto (FAUP) and its R&D Architecture and Urban Studies Center (CEAU), through the research group Architecture, Art and Image (AAI). The universe of interest of scopio is generically that of Architecture, Art and Image with a focus on documentary and artistic photography related with the themes of architecture, city and territory. It supports diverse forums and editorial initiatives, ideas, projects, competitions and workshops related to photography on architecture research and editorial agendas.
