Education and artistic learning The fragile correlation between digital and analogical

Abstract
Education and learning relationship, since submitted to the reinforcement of the learning
component, has been faced to fast and deep changes, forced, among other factors, by the fragile
correlation between two tangent fields: the analogical and the digital one. If current teachers’ education
took place according to analogical processes, our students had already grown in between
digital environment. What consequence has this process I named «invention of new identities» in
higher artistic education graduations? How do these «acculturation» and «emigration» processes
develop into this new reality? How do we equate, today, the transference of creative analogical processes into artistic education contemporary paths? These are some of the questions that I will
try to approach, having as deep cloth the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto and, as
premise, the necessity of reinventing pedagogy and didactic, sure that, incorporating the morevalues
of the digital one and its role in safeguard, transmission, development and diffusion of the
analogical one, we’ll be able not to lose centuries of Humanity’s enhancement.
