Economy, politics, and sustainable development: The challenges of the global and social environmental crisis
Main Article Content
Abstract
Housing in this new millennium marks one of the deepest and most decisive crises in human history. Ways of life and values, hierarchies and systems of organising power, labour, and interactions between genders, peoples, and cultures—as well as humanity's entire relationship with itself and with planet Earth—are all multifaceted dimensions of a single, vast crisis that we might term the quest for sustainability.
