Abstract
This is a new non-thematic issue of the journal Educação, Sociedade & Culturas (Education, Society & Cultures) focusing on "Education, Politics, Otherness," which aims to be a vehicle for disseminating scientific production and research conducted in Portugal and in other countries, emphasizing the growing concern for an audience situated in differentiated and increasingly globalized contexts, crossing contexts and processes through dynamics that transcend borders.
