Abstract
This is a new non-thematic issue of the journal Educação, Sociedade & Culturas (Education, Society & Cultures) focusing on
Changing Worlds, Changing Education?. Once again, the importance attributed to the journal's production is reaffirmed as a way of disseminating research produced not only in Portugal but also in other countries, as a way of contributing to a vibrant and current social science of education, while remaining problematizing and relevant to the issues of formal and non-formal education that accompany us in our contemporary world. The overarching theme chosen for this issue seeks to highlight the emphasis on policies and practices in the educational field, but also the climate of intense and rapid changes that raise questions for those who confront them in search of meaning.
