Entre a ciência e o compromisso: O lugar do/a investigador/a em educação na sociedade contemporânea

Resumo

Este artigo analisa criticamente os lugares que os/as investigadores/as em educação ocupam e constroem a sociedade contemporânea, a partir de uma abordagem documental de natureza ensaística. Foram examinados documentos institucionais, planos estratégicos, relatórios de agências de financiamento e diretrizes de organismos internacionais, provenientes de três contextos nacionais – Portugal, Brasil e Moçambique –, selecionados segundo critérios de relevância temática e representatividade no campo científico e educativo. O estudo mostra como os discursos institucionais configuram uma lógica tecnocrática e performativa, centrada na produtividade, no impacto mensurável e na competitividade internacional, frequentemente em detrimento da relevância social, da autonomia epistemológica e do compromisso ético. Evidenciam-se, contudo, tensões entre esta lógica dominante e perspetivas críticas que defendem justiça cognitiva, saberes situados e pluralidade epistémica. O contributo principal reside em tornar explícitas as ambivalências estruturais que atravessam o papel do/a investigador/a em educação e em propor a necessidade de reconfigurar os regimes de reconhecimento e avaliação científica. Defende-se a valorização de práticas investigativas contextualizadas, dialógicas e transformadoras como condição para reforçar o papel público da investigação em educação e ampliar a sua relevância social.

PhD student in Education at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa. Passionate aboutworking with children of various ages and young adults, with different learning needs, for their successfullearning and intellectual development. She has dedicated herself to teaching since February 2020. Attendedthe the Master's Programme in Visual Arts Teaching which she completed in February 2024. Attended theFiction Writing Postgraduate course which she completed in July 2023. Master in Landscape Architecturesince December 2021; Pre-Bologna Degree in Landscape Architecture since 2009. She practiced LandscapeArchitecture as a freelancer on a sporadic basis. Persistent and interested in artistic creativity and teaching.
