The Public Space Journal is a publication of the University of Porto, edited by U.Porto Press, associated with the research units CEAU, CEGOT, CIBIO and CITTA, articulating the faculties FAUP, FCUP, FEUP and FLUP. It is transversal to Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Geography, Spatial Planning and Urbanism, and welcomes original scientific articles and reviews on urban space and its dynamics.

It is an innovative publication as it brings together the areas of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Geography, Territorial Planning and Urbanism.

The domain of the perspective of "futures" and the intersection between theoretical, empirical and project knowledge is of great interest and potential. Given the cross-disciplinary nature of the journal, it is also an opportunity to publish original interdisciplinary material, both written and graphic, which will be of interest to a large number of senior and junior researchers.
